Founding Builder Program
Run SingleStory on your homes.
Help build what comes next.
A small group of builders, selected for fit, using SingleStory with their own teams and buyers, with the founder directly involved.
Program at a glance
- Small cohort, selected for fit
- Real homes, with your teams and buyers
- We set up your communities and lots
- A direct line to the founder
- Pricing set by scope
Not beta testers. Early partners.
SingleStory is early, and we say so. The product is working software. What a Founding Builder adds is real homes, real teams and honest feedback, so we can refine it around how builders actually operate.
Why this program exists
Homebuilders don't all work the same way.
Structure, stages, terminology, lender relationships, systems and closing processes all differ. A platform meant to connect the journey has to learn those differences in real operations.
- organizational structure
- construction stages
- terminology
- lender relationships
- systems
- communication rhythms
- closing processes
Who this is for
A few builders we can understand deeply.
Founding Builders are selected, not signed up. This is about mutual fit.
Real volume
Enough active homes for coordination to matter.
Multiple teams
Sales, construction, lending, closing and customer-facing roles participate.
Executive sponsor
Someone who can remove barriers.
Operational champion
Someone who understands the real workflow.
Commitment to learning
A team willing to test, measure and give candid feedback.
What a Founding Builder receives
More than early access.
White-glove implementation
SingleStory configures the platform around your organization and pilot group.
Direct founder access
A direct line to Stefan throughout the program.
Product influence
Shape terminology, workflows, configuration and reporting.
Founding Builder economics
Preferred early-partner commercial consideration if the pilot continues.
Priority learning
Your workflows inform which integrations and capabilities come first.
Public recognition as a Founding Builder is optional, secondary, and only if and when that becomes appropriate.
What we ask in return
The partnership has to work both ways.
Executive sponsor
Someone with authority to support the pilot.
Operational champion
Someone who can coordinate day-to-day participation.
Real home journeys
Run actual transactions through SingleStory.
Structured feedback
Scheduled checkpoints and candid product conversations.
Agreed measurement
Compare selected baseline and pilot-period outcomes where practical.
A case study only if the pilot earns it and both sides agree. Never assumed.
What a pilot could look like
Working hypothesisStart focused. Learn deeply.
01
Configure
SingleStory is set up around your communities, stages, terminology and teams.
02
Onboard
Your sales, construction, lending and closing participants are brought in.
03
Launch
Real homes move through SingleStory with buyers and partners.
04
Measure
We'll track the measures we agree on before the pilot starts.
05
Review
What worked, what did not, and whether continuing makes sense.
120–180 days
Potential duration
Long enough for real homes to move through construction, financing and closing.
25–50+ homes
Potential cohort
An example scale where volume allows. The right cohort depends on the builder.
Real users
Participants may include
Sales, construction, buyers, Realtors, lenders, closing and leadership.
Scope-based
Pricing
Determined by pilot scope, builder size, transaction count and implementation needs.
These are working pilot parameters, not universal minimums or guaranteed commercial terms.
What setup looks like
We do the setup. Your team does the building.
- We set up your communities and lots.
- Your people update from phone or desktop.
- We train your team to add new communities and lots.
- Integrations are planned, not live. Today nothing syncs automatically.

Transparent working parameters
The honest working parameters.
A partnership only works when the uncomfortable parts are visible first.
Early-stage product
SingleStory is early. Some things will be rough, and priorities will change as builders use it.
Scope is defined together
Pilot length, home count and participating teams are agreed with your organization, not imposed.
No guaranteed outcomes
We make no promises about results. The pilot exists to find out what is actually true.
No automatic integrations today
SingleStory works alongside your CRM, ERP, construction and closing systems; it doesn't synchronize with them automatically today.
Either side can stop
If it is not working, we would rather end it cleanly than keep it going.
Commercial terms follow scope
Founding Builder pricing is determined by pilot scope, builder size, transaction count and implementation needs.
What we intend to measure
Define success before the pilot starts.
Where practical, SingleStory and the builder compare selected baseline and pilot-period outcomes across four areas.
Buyer experience
buyers who sign in · updates seen · buyer actions completed on time · your existing survey scores
Communication
status calls and texts to sales and superintendents · Realtor check-ins · days since the last buyer update
Operations
missed handoffs · appointments set without back-and-forth · open items at closing
Leadership
homes flagged and resolved · next steps with no owner
These are intended pilot measurements — not claimed SingleStory results.
What success could lead to
Prove it first. Then decide together.
01
Pilot
Real transactions.
02
Proof
Measured value.
03
Review
What worked, what did not, what needs to change.
04
Commercial decision
Builder and SingleStory determine whether broader deployment makes sense.
05
Expansion
Potential division, regional or enterprise rollout.
Expansion is a possible path, not a commitment. Nothing continues unless the pilot earns it.
Why a small cohort
Depth before scale.
A small group lets SingleStory learn how builders genuinely differ — and build for those differences instead of averaging them away.
- configuration
- terminology
- responsibility
- system dependencies
- implementation complexity
Mutual fit
The timing should be right for both sides.
The program probably isn't a fit if there is:
- very low transaction volume
- no meaningful coordination problem today
- no executive sponsor
- no operational champion
- no ability to participate in feedback
- looking to replace an ERP, CRM or construction system
We would rather identify that before a pilot than force a partnership that will not work.

Founder
Built from inside the industry.
SingleStory was created by Stefan Bean after years working across marketing, real estate and new-home sales and repeatedly seeing the same disconnect between buyers, builders and the teams supporting a home after contract.
I don't want the first builders to simply use SingleStory. I want them to help make it better.

Questions builders ask
Straight answers.
How is it priced?
Founding Builder pricing is set by scope: how many homes and communities, and how much setup you need. We don't publish a price list yet; you'll get a straight answer on the first call.
Do we have to replace anything?
No. Your CRM, construction schedule, accounting and lender systems keep running. SingleStory runs alongside them. It doesn't connect to them yet, so your people post updates in SingleStory once.
Who from our side is involved?
A sponsor from leadership, plus the sales, construction and closing people on the pilot homes.
What does it ask of our superintendents?
An update with a photo when a stage moves, posted from their phone. We'll agree on the cadence with you before the pilot starts.
